This policy covers LocalCalSync, a macOS app published by Clouds Agency ("we", "us").
The short version
LocalCalSync does not have a server. It does not have an account system. It does not send your calendar data anywhere. Everything it does happens locally on your Mac, using Apple's own Calendar framework (EventKit).
What LocalCalSync accesses
- Calendar events, via the macOS Calendar permission you grant on first launch. LocalCalSync reads events from the source calendar you choose and writes copies to the destination calendar you choose. Both calendars already exist in your Apple Calendar setup before you open the app.
- LocalCalSync does not ask for or use your Google, Microsoft, Exchange, or any other account credentials. It never performs OAuth or any third-party login. If a calendar is visible in Apple Calendar, that's the only thing LocalCalSync ever talks to.
What LocalCalSync stores, and where
- A small local file at
~/Library/Application Support/LocalCalSync/sync-state.json, which records which destination event corresponds to which source event, so the app doesn't create duplicates. This file never leaves your Mac. - Your in-app preferences (selected calendars, sync interval, toggle states), stored via
standard macOS
UserDefaultson your Mac only. - License/trial status, stored locally on your Mac.
None of the above is transmitted to us, to Apple, or to any third party. LocalCalSync has no analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry of any kind.
Payment and licensing data
If you purchase LocalCalSync, payment is processed by our payment provider (see the receipt you get at checkout for the specific provider), not by us directly. We do not receive or store your full card details. We may receive your email address and order/license information from the payment provider in order to issue and validate your license and provide support. See that provider's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
Children's privacy
LocalCalSync is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
